Steps 1-3 are the set-up
1) Measure by wrapping every peg in zig-zag plus a few inches. Make slip knot and place at back row. I usually put it at the right edge so I can start knitting at the left edge.
2) Place tail yarn to the right, working yarn to the left.
3) Wrap front peg with working yarn, counter-clockwise, then wrap with tail yarn clockwise, then hold yarns together and lift bottom loop over top loop, tighten.
4) This is where the normal process begins. Wrap back peg with working yarn clockwise, then front peg counter-clockwise. Then tail yarn on back peg, counter-clockwise, on front peg, clockwise.
5) Working yarn always wrapped first and tail yarn always wrapped second. Then work over, then tighten.
